In Loving Memory of Grace Louise Robitz
Grace Louise Robitz, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born on May 22, 1931, and her journey through life was a testament to the profound impact one can make on their family, community, and faith.
At the age of 30 Grace received Christ as her Savior. She promptly came home and led her three children to the Lord at that time. She led us along the path to truly knowing Christ. Later, Ed her husband, and youngest daughter Lisa came to know Jesus as well.
Grace was not just a name but a reflection of her character and demeanor throughout her life. She was a devout Christian and dedicated her life to serving her faith and her community. As a gifted Bible teacher and a vocalist for the Christian Missionary Alliance in New Brighton, PA, Grace touched the lives of many with her spiritual guidance and the beauty of her voice, inspiring all who had the privilege of hearing her sing.
In her younger adult years, Grace’s beauty and talents shone brightly. However, her most significant achievements were not in the world of beauty pageants but in her unwavering commitment to her faith. Grace participated in a life-changing Walk for Jesus in California, an event that deepened her connection to her spiritual journey. Her dream was realized when she had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land, an experience that enriched her understanding of her Christian beliefs.
Grace’s love story with her husband, Edward Robitz, was nothing short of remarkable. Together, they celebrated over 50 years of marriage, demonstrating a bond built on love, faith, and unwavering support for one another. Their love story was a testament to the power of enduring commitment.
Grace is survived by her four children, Edward [Sandy] Robitz Jr., Cynthia [James] Hogue, Diane [Michael] Kaern, and Lisa [Nate] Barber, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom felt the warmth of her love and the wisdom of her guidance.
Grace Louise Robitz will be remembered not only for her outer beauty but, more importantly, for the beauty of her spirit, her unwavering faith, and her love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her and be touched by her grace and kindness.
A private memorial service to celebrate Grace’s life has been held at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services on September 29, 2023 in Monaca . In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, OH in honor of Grace’s memory.
As we mourn the loss of Grace, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the profound impact she had on all of us. Grace has now found eternal peace in the embrace of her Heavenly Father, and her memory will forever shine as a beacon of love and faith in our hearts.
