Grace Marie Yarosz, 89 of Monaca passed away on Wednesday, August 23,2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family.Born November 21, 1927 in Pittsburgh (North Side), she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Cycelia (Chojnacka) Wisko.As a young lady growing up in Pittsburgh, Grace loved to dance. It was at the former West View Park Danceland where she met Joseph T. Yarosz, whom she later married on May 12,1956.Grace was a devout Catholic with her faith and family being the pillars of her life. Grace was also very proud of her Polish heritage and observed the Polish tradition of preparing the Christmas Eve Wigilia supper. She was a member St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, enjoyed bowling with her husband and crocheting.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Joseph, on October 2, 1997. She was also preceded by a great granddaughter, Dakota Rose Roberts; a sister, Irene Sowa; two brothers, Frank and Edmund Wisko.She leaves three children and their spouses: Cynthia ( Fred) Lewis, Michael (Christine) Yarosz and Susan (Larry) Graham. A grandson, Jacob (Jen) Roberts; a granddaughter, Caitlin Yarosz and two great grandchildren: Azlynn Grace and Enzo Alexander Roberts. Numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Judy Miller, who Grace lovingly called ‘Mum’. The family would like to extend a note of thanks to the Good Samaritan Hospice team: Peggy, Laura and Beth Ann.Friends will be received on Friday, August 25th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9 am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 9:30 am in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.
