Harry J. Johnston, 82, of Patterson Township, passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2015, in Cambridge Village in Patterson Township.Harry was born in the Rochester Hospital on August 20, 1932. Harry was the son of the late Harry I. Johnston and Elsa (Zinke) Johnston of Monaca. He was a 1950 graduate of Monaca High School and a 1954 graduate of Grove City College with a BA degree in History and Political Science. Harry was a veteran of the US Navy serving in Japan from 1955 to 1957. He was employed at the National Bank of Beaver County (formerly The First National Bank of Monaca) from 1961 until he retired as the president and CEO in 1985. Harry was also the former owner of Stop ‘n Sock Driving Range and Par Three Golf.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Lamartine Louis LeGoullon; a sister-in-law, Sarah LeGoullon; a nephew, Lamartine Louis (Teen) LeGoullon lll; and two aunts, Ann Wienman (Zinke) and Adele Scott (Zinke).He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marie L. (LeGoullon ) Johnston, whom he married in Monaca on July 20, 1963; a brother-in-law, Frank LeGoullon, of Center Twp; a sister-in-law, Marianne (Garrity) LeGoullon, of Sewickley; two nephews, Mark LeGoullon, and his wife, Fran, of Canfield, Ohio and Eric LeGoullon and wife, Shari, of Morganton, N. C.; four nieces, Linda (LeGoullon) Karnavas and her husband, Andy, of Sewickley, Karen (LeGoullon) Olson and her husband, Robert, of Princeton Minn., Holly (LeGoullon) Ulizzi and her husband, Jay, of Aliquippa and Kristin (LeGoullon) Valentin and her husband, Ed, of Sanford, N. C.; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.Harry had a passion for nautical life, a lover of the ocean and ocean-going vessels. He loved music, particularly Broadway musicals, and old standard songs which he loved to sing with groups at parties. Harry, “We’ll be seeing you in all the old familiar places.”Friends will be received Monday, March 2nd, from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. The Reverend Robert W.
