On the morning of March 16, 2023, Harry Sichak Jr. was called to his Heavenly home where he’s rejoicing with the Lord and Savior. Harry Sichak Jr. was born on January 5, 1935 in Aliquippa, PA. Harry was the son of the late Harry Sichak Sr. and Helen Briscoe-Sichak. He is preceded by his siblings: William Sichak, Michael Sichak, and Julie Ermi. His surviving siblings: Rose Reihart, Robert Sichak, and Irene Stripay. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Forney-Sichak. They would have celebrated 69 years of marriage in September of this year. Harry attended Aliquippa High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Geneva College and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Harry served as an assistant scout master with the Boy Scouts of America and was an avid cyclist. He had a long and successful career with Symons Corporation as a sales engineer and branch manager, where he received the title of the #1 Sales Engineer 4 years in a row. He helped design and construct nuclear power plants, sports facilities, and residential high rises across the United States; with notable projects such as the Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH; the Shippingport Nuclear Power plant in Shippingport, PA, and the Jade Towers in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. Harry also worked as a marketing director for CARS Software and Development Company which aided colleges and universities in software development. Harry also served as an adjunct Professor of Marketing at the College of Mount St. Joseph in Delhi, OH, was a Bible study instructor at Bible Study Fellowship International, and continued his path of self-education long after retirement.
Surviving are his loving children: Bonnie Cronin (Jim Cronin), Harry Scott Sichak (Goldie Prophete-Sichak), and Shawn Sichak (Christine Lau Sichak). His grandchildren who brought him much joy: Jaime R. Fredericks, Katherine A. Stuck, Pierre M. Denis, Carl H. Denis, Brandon S. Sichak, Jonathan N. Sichak, Jonathan M. Sichak, and Andrew K. Sichak. He was loved by his great-grandchildren: Bryce A. Fredericks, Liam T. Stuck, Eli J. Stuck, Colin J. Fredericks, Evan P. Fredericks, Camden D. Stuck, Beckett A. Stuck, and Grant J. Fredericks.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24th, 2023 from 2-7 P.M. at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061. Funeral services will be held at Simpson Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday March 25th, 2023 with a funeral procession going to Woodlawn Cemetery at 450 Penn Ave, Aliquippa, PA 15001 following the funeral services.
