Helen F Siget, 92 of Rochester, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was reunited with her loved ones on October 13, 2023. Her passing occurred at Rochester Manor with her loving family by her side. Born in New Brighton, Helen was a daughter of the late Herbert E. Lawrence Sr. and Helen (Thomson) Ralston. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Siget, Sr., her daughter Kathy Siget and her son, John J. Siget, Jr. and his wife Deborah. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Davis, Edith McCreary, and Herbert Lawrence Jr. Helen is survived by her devoted children, Stephen H. (Robin) Siget and Sue Weiss (Jamie Gitts). She was the proud grandmother of John Siget III (Bridget Hoak), Stephen (Kristen) Siget, Jr., Richard (Chrystal) Siget, James Siget (Jackie Callahan), Jason (Crystal) Siget, Matthew (Kristi) Weiss and Ryan (Ashley) Weiss. She was the beloved great-grandmother of Mary Szuchy, Rylie Siget, Samantha Siget, Parker Siget, Madison Siget, Braeden Siget, Jax Weiss, Alex Siget, Hallie Weiss, Olivia Weiss, Zeke Weiss and Brooks Weiss. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and her cherished Beagle, Candy. Helen had a lengthy career in retail, working as a sales clerk at K Mart, Kaufmann’s, and finally at Ross Dress for Less. She was a devoted member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Valley Parish. Helen’s interests were varied and included her love for playing bingo at the Monaca Turners and was a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. Helen was known for her hospitality and her love for her family. Every year, she looked forward to hosting the annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinners at her home. These occasions were filled with joy, laughter, and the aroma of Helen’s delicious cooking. In addition to her love for family gatherings, Helen also looked forward to her weekly hair appointments every Friday at Jamie’s Salon. This was a time for her to relax, socialize, and always come out looking her best. Helen’s passing leaves a void that will be hard to fill. However, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Family and friends are respectfully invited to visit on Monday, October 16th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, (724 728 4000) where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 9:15 am followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Rochester. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions, be made, if desired to the Beaver County Chapter, Special Olympics. 724 510 8945.
