Helen Snyder

Helen ‘Bubba’ Snyder, 90 of Monaca was reunited with her two sons, David and Scott on Saturday, Sept 26, 2015. Her passing occurred at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.Born September 14, 1925, she was one four children born to the late Augustine and Mary (Yurcak) Pozgaj.Helen grew up in Beaver and was a graduate of Beaver High School, class of 1943.She had various interests including bowling on two leagues, faithfully watching Family Feud, was an avid Steelers fan and particularly loved playing cards with her best friends which she did up to her recent 90^th birthday. Helen also had a knack for cooking and was well known in Monaca for her spaghetti and steak dinners.In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband , Harold D Snyder in 1994 and two beloved sons, David in 1985 and Scott in 1998. She was also preceded by her three brothers: Augustine, Georgie and Stevie.She leaves two daughters: Joyce M (Bill) Reed in Arizona and Marcy L. Moore of Monaca. Seven grandchildren: Kylie Schweinsberg (Ryan Crute) of Monaca who resided with Helen and was her caretaker for the past nine years., Casey (Clint) Parsons of Las Vegas, Nevada and Lori, Nicole, Mindy, Jeremy and Seth.
