Jim was a good man and a wonderful neighbor. He loved his family and his friends. Jim enjoyed great food, locals sports and a good story. I like to think of him reunited with his beloved wife, Jackie. I hope that Sheri, Jamie, and his grandchildren can find some comfort in his well-lived life, and in God's promise of life eternal.

Dear Sharie and Jamie and family. We were so very sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I will always remember him as the kindest and most loving neighbor we could ever have imagined growing up on Indiana Ave. My most vivid memories of him were those times that with his heart of his sleeve, he would show his love and compassion for our parents....as dad passed a few years before your mom.....and mom passed of course 5 months before your dad. Jim was the last remnant of a generation in that neighborhood that gave us all such wonderful lives and memories as we grew up, moved away.....and were Blessed with children and our own families. I still miss sitting on the porch swings at both our childhood homes....the laughter, the stories, the trouble your mom kept me out of growing up. I pray that the love and kindness expressed by family and friends will lift your spirits....make you smile and bring just a bit of comfort as you all face this precious loss in your lives. Our faith allows us to believe that he is now reunited with the love of his life, that he missed so terribly for these past 11 years. The many tears he shed are now tears of joy as they embrace again in God's heavenly kingdom. (And I hope they'll run into John and Theresa along the way). He was SO loved by many of us, as was your mom and I know I'll pause today to reflect on the dear friendship we all felt over the nearly 50 years since we moved to Monaca from West Aliquippa and became acquainted with the Lofaso's. God Bless your families along with your mom AND dad as we pray for their eternal rest. John Petures (Peach)
