James W. Liller, 81, of North Sewickley Township, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 in his home.Born on April 7, 1936 in Blaine, West Virginia to the late James P and Elsie (Propst) Liller. He graduated in 1954 from Parsons High School in Parsons, West Virginia. James was employed by Horsehead, formerly St. Joe Lead from 1954 to 1991. He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962 and was a member of North Sewickley Presbyterian Church in North Sewickley Township.He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Brian Liller in 2008, and a sister Ann Greco in 2015.James is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathleen Liller, a son Raymond Liller, four sisters; Glenna Liller in Braddock, Phyllis (Brian) Tucker in Camano Island, Washington, Linda (Bob) Stillwell in Ramona, California, Nancy (David O’Shields) Holsinger in Chesapeake, Virginia, two brothers; Dan Somerville in Kirkland, Ohio, and Sam (Jean) Somerville in Mims, Florida. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm with Reverend Nathan Loudon officiating and Reverend Doctor Judy Angleburger assisting. Military honors will be accorded at 3:30 pm by the Beaver County Special Unit.In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James’s memory to the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania or the Salvation Army, Beaver Falls or Give a Christmas.
