Jeanette M. (Hopkins) Kashella, 59, of Monaca, passed away November 12, 2019.
Born in Aliquippa, she was one of four children of the late Willis K. and Helen (Woody) Hopkins.
Jenny, as she was known, was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She adored the Pittsburgh Steelers and her family, especially grandchildren, Michael, Braylon and Miles Mabin, all of Beaver and Kamryn and Anaiah Newman.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Kristi) Mabin of Beaver and Connie Mabin of Economy; siblings, Cindy Hopkins (Jim Finnell) of Rochester; Kimberly Hopkins of Monaca and Eric (Tricia) Hopkins of Rochester. Also surviving are her nephews, Shawn (Lisa) and Justin Quinn (Rebecca Fields) and Brandon and Shane Hopkins; a furry nephew, Buddy Hopkins; many other friends and loved ones, including her great nieces and nephews, and family from Morgantown, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her niece, Heather Quinn of Rochester.
A memorial service will take place Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 1 p.m. at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca (724-728-4000), www.simpsonfuneralhome.com. A reception will follow at her son’s home.
