John A Milligan, 71 of Monaca passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 while in Arizona.Born and raised in Rochester, he was a son of the late Allen and Josephine Milligan.John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Grace (Tomasello) Milligan to whom he was united in marriage on July 19, 1969. Four children: James (Jennifer) Milligan in Arizona, Josie (James) Swope in Ohio, Joanne (Charles) Chirico of Monaca and Joshua (Deanne Branch) Milligan in Arizonia. His grandchildren: Michael (Ciara Dodge), Jeffrey, Julia (Jared Nielson), Irelynne and Jase Milligan, all in Arizonia, Ryan Hague of Chippewa, Nicholas and Gabriel Gill and Raeliegh Swope in Ohio and Zoey Chirico of Monaca. A brother and two sisters: Vickie Wynn of Monaca, Allen (Doris) Milligan of Rochester, and Mary Jo (Bruce) Baden of Monaca. Also survived by a sister in law, Donna Milligan of Rochester.In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his in laws, James and Mary Tomasello of Monaca; an infant son, Jeffrey Allen Milligan; two brothers, Charles and David Milligan and a brother inn law, Edward Miller.John was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War and a retiree of Pittsburgh Tube Co.(now known as PTC Alliance) with 30 years of service. He could fix just about anything particularly things around the home and automobiles and enjoyed the warm sun and mountains of Arizona.He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 30th at 10:30 am in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1409 Pennsylvania Ave, Monaca with a luncheon to follow the service.
