John Bacha Jr., 84, of Center Township passed away on Friday morning, October 14th, 2022 at Heritage Valley Beaver, after a brief illness.

Born and raised in Center, John enlisted in the US Air Force in 1955 and served abroad during the Korean War. He earned a Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged in 1959. After returning home, he gained employment at J&L Steel Corp. from which he later retired.

John was a son of the late John and Anna Bacha, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Bacha, and his sisters, Anna Myers and Mary Ann Yenchko.

John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda DeJoseph Bacha, and two children, John W. (Lisa) Bacha of Aliquippa, and Barbra (Ted) Frank of Center Twp. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Garrett and Derrick Bacha, and Kaitlyn Frank, and a sister, Kathleen (Ross) Merante of Port Trevorton, PA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Per John’s request, there will be no viewing. Family and friends will be gathering to remember John on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022 from 1 pm -4 pm at the Center Township VFD #3, 110 VanKirk Road, Monaca, PA. 15061
