John D. Bogard III, 52, a lifelong resident of Center Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at his residence.Born August 14, 1963, he was a son of Shirley A. (Erickson) Bogard of Center Township and the late John D. Bogard, Jr. Currently employed at Community College of Beaver County, he was a former employee of WalMart in Center Township. An avid sportsman, John spent his leisure time in the woods hunting and fishing and enjoying nature dressed in his favorite attire, camo. John enjoyed playing acoustic guitar for many years after taking lessons at a young age. He also loved riding dirt bikes and quads. John was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and a social member of Monaca Turners.In addition to his mother, John is survived by his former wife, Johnene Folds Bogard of Center Township; his daughter, Emily Bogard, and a sister, Beth A.
