John Hrelec, 94 of Center Township passed away on May 2, 2018 surrounded by his family.He was the son of the late Evan and Veronica Hrelec. John served his country in US Army during World War II as a motorcycle military policeman. After returning from the war, he gained employment as a millwright at J & L (LTV) Steel’ s Aliquippa works in the blast furnace department, retiring in 1983.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Bill and George HrelecJohn is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Evelyn Ericson Hrelec, his three sons; John E. (Linda) Hrelec, Carl (Barb) Hrelec and Steven (Hazel) Hrelec, a brother Charles Hrelec and a sister Carol McWilliams, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Sunday, May 6th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where a service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am.
