John J. Bokach, 57, of Center Township, peacefully passed away Tuesday morning, May 7, 2013, after an extended battle with leukemia.
He was born in Rochester on January 1, 1956, and leaves behind his beloved mother, Shirley Plaskonos, who dearly cared for him his whole life.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Bokach, Sr.; cousins, Mark Kaiser and Don Link and grandmother, Ruth Pierce.
His surviving family includes uncles, Jerry (Claudette) Kaiser of Cortland, OH, and Richard (Nancy) Kaiser of Seymour, TN; and cousins, Kim (Kathy) Kaiser of Midland, Todd (Mary) Kaiser of Glenshaw, Lauren Kaiser of Center Township, Erica Record of Beaver, Danielle Cummings of Midland and Aaron Kaiser of Montville, NY.
John was a 1974 graduate of Midland High School and an avid sports fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins.
His mother extends a special thank you for the loving care provided by Good Samaritan at Heritage Valley Beaver, Catholic Charities, and also to his beloved family and friends.
There will be no visitation. Cremation services are being provided by Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, PA.
