John Paul Logan, 47, of Rochester, died Tues., May 12, 2015. He was born October 3, 1967, in Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by father Patrick J. Logan, and mother, Ruth C. Logan. Survived by brother, Patrick J. Logan, Jr. and wife, Shirley; nieces and their spouses, Lori and Mike Hanson, Cathy and Brad Angel, and great-nieces Hailey and Hannah Hanson, and Scarlett Angel. John lived in various places including Bridgeville, New Castle and finally Rochester, PA. He enjoyed attending mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca, and also enjoyed sports such as baseball and karate. He was also an avid music lover. As a lifelong Steeler fan, Rocky Bleier was his favorite player of all time. Rocky’s autographed picture was a prized possession. His kindness and caring for others will be truly missed. Visitation will be held Monday, May 18th, from 8:30 a.m. until parting prayers at 9:30 a.m. at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1409 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca.
