John N. Puppich

John N. Puppich, 92, of Freedom was reunited with his late wife, Stella on Sunday, December 10, 2017.  Born July 6, 1925, he was the son of the late Matthew and Catherine B. (Malinic) Puppich.A World War II veteran, he served in the US Marine Corps.  John was a retiree of Arco Chemical Company in Potter Township, was a faithful member of St. Felix Catholic Church in Freedom and was a life member of the New Brighton American Legion.He is survived by his daughter, Lori Hays and her husband, Richard of New Sewickley Township, two grandchildren; Justin (Nicole) Hays of Center Township and Nicole Hays of New Sewickley, two great granddaughters; Brenna and Brice, a brother Paul Puppich  and a sister Helen Binkoski.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella in July of 1997, two brothers; Nick and Matt Puppich, five sisters; Ann Marinke, Mary Binkoski, Catherine Craig, Barbara Kutters, and Edith Puppich.Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St Felix Catholic Church, Freedom. Interment will follow with Military Honors performed by the Beaver County Special Unit  at 11:15 am in Calvary Cemetery, New Sewickley Township.In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Nashville, TN 38105, or Give a Christmas in care of the Salvation Army, P.O.
