Although I was not a personal friend of Johns, I have been friends with his brother's wife for many years. Bill and Marie, I send all my love and support at this very sad time, and can only offer that and my prayers to you in way of comfort. I most definitely understand what you are going through since I lost my sister in August. The best thing you can do is stay close to friends and other family members, and keep a strong faith. That is the best way to get through it. My deepest sympathy to you .

My condolences to Johns family; I worked with John at Eaton for a short period of time and he was just a great person, he had a way of making you smile just by the things he did and said. He will be greatly missed.
John was a wonderful person who I had worked with in the ND Group At Eaton. We always talked football and he loved to watch the High School Games on Root Sports. He will be missed so much by all of us who knew him and I want to wish him a wonderful eternal life. God bless you John and my sympathy to the family.
Dear John's family, I am saddened by your sudden loss. Shrummy and I became quick friends at work. He was the first to introduce himself. Under my daily protest, as a gentlemen , he would lift the heavy pans to set up my day.He made me laugh daily because he got a kick out of calling me by my nickname. I will miss his kind voice and genuine personality. Shrummy is a true gentleman. I am grateful for having known him. He will be missed. Sympathies,Hoppie
John and I were cousins (our mothers were sisters) I remember growing up in Monaca in the 1960's and John and I were always together every Sunday at Grandmas for dinner and playing ball, having a blast teasing our Uncle Bud,as we became adults we grew apart but in 2011 when I was hired at Eaton we reconnected,we had fun talking about our childhood and our time at Grandmas.Miss ya Cous, see ya again someday! Praise Jesus!
In one of the worst snow storms a few years ago, I slipped on black ice in the parking lot. Nobody was there. I couldn't get up. All of the sudden I felt a hand touch my shoulder and a gentle voice tell me to take his hand. John picked me up and held my arm all the way into the plant to keep me from falling again. He was a true gentleman........
My condolences to Johns family. He was truly a kind and gentle, funny and sweet man. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. RIP John and may God bless you.
