Joseph David ‘Pop’ Lucaric, 89, was reunited with his family on August 27,2014. Born December 2, 1924, in Conway, PA, Joseph was the son of the late Steven and Margaret (Frederick) Lucaric.As a young man, Joe enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII and honorably served his country. Joseph was a self-employed mechanic who owned a garage and body shop for many years. Joe had a love for cars, a gift for fixing things and a playful personality.In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, in 1981. He was also preceded by three sons, Kenneth David (1986), Dale Curtis (2006), and an infant son, Billy; a sister, Agnes and three brothers, Thomas, John, and George Lucaric.Joseph is survived by a daughter-in-law, Amy Lucaric of Fallston; a brother, Edward (Jane) of East Palestine; three granddaughters, Misty, Tressie and Trinity; two great-granddaughters, Mikaela and Samantha; a dear friend, Irene Short of Beaver and several nieces and nephews.A private family viewing was held on Thursday at the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca.
