Joe and I were friends and co-workers at Williams & Co. in Pittsburgh, PA for several years. I admired Joe for his ability and guts to strike out on his own and start the business known as Beaver Valley Welding Supply. Tomorrow, June 12,2013, is my 93d birthday and I am still active as a part time welding consultant for a company here in Springfield MO. May God bless Shirley and all of the Lyden family.

To the Lyden Family, We are so sincerely sorry for your loss of your dad at this time. Even though we are older now, the loss of a parent is still very difficult. We hope in time your grief will be renewed with special memories of your father. Lean on our heavenly father, and he will help you Joe and Connie, and the rest of your family at this time. (John 11:25).

Dear Shirely and family, Although you and Joe were my sister Mary Jane's dear and long-time friends, I will always remember Joe as a kind person and real gentleman. He was always sincerely interested in others and never failed to have something positive to say. It was evident that he liked people and loved his large family and was very proud of them. I never knew that he was a United States Marine but am not at all surprised. May he enjoy eternal peace. Sincerely, Richard LaMagna
