Judith A. Cattivera, 57, of Monaca, passed away Monday morning, July 4, 2011, in Allegheny General Hospital.
Born May 21, 1954, in Sewickley, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Janet (Manges) Kravice. After graduating from Hopewell High School, Judi continued her studies at Community College of Beaver County, where she graduated as a registered nurse and later taught classes for the college. She was currently employed by Progressive Home Health, Center Twp. Judi loved to dance and was known as a great conversationalist. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monaca.
She leaves her loving husband of 28 years, Carmen R. Cattivera; two step-children, Cindy (Buster) McGrogan of Calcutta, OH and David (Janice) Cattivera of Aliquippa; four step-grandchildren, Mark, Andrew, Danielle and Aiden; a sister, Carol Kravice in Saudi Arabia; a nephew and a niece, Chad Cheuvront and Dr. Tara Cheuvront and a step-father, Dean Jones of Jeanette.
In addition to her parents Judi was preceded in death by a twin brother, Daniel Kravice and an infant son, Christian.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of blessing service at 6 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca. Rev. Fr. John L. McKenna, her pastor, will officiate.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
