Judith E. Blackledge, 62, of Rochester passed away Wednesday eveing, July 20, 2011, in Kindred Hospital at Heritage Valley.
Born May 3, 1949, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late John and Clara (Gillin) Fehir. Judith received an associate degree in Children?s Writing and was an avid poetry writer. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. In addition to crafting, Judith enjoyed being outdoors.
She will be sadly missed by three daughters, Nancy L. Barto of New Brighton, Tina Blackedge of Windber, and Amy B. Haffly and her husband, Robert, of Santa Fe, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Robert, Joshua, Caleb, Sheldon and Daniel; three brothers and a sister, John (Carol) Fehir of Chippewa Township, David (Rose) Fehir of Patterson Township, Elizabeth Mellovich, Rochester and Timothy Fehir of Chippewa Township; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Fehir and several nieces and nephews
Also preceding her in death was a brother, Robert Fehir.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 5 pm at the Chapel Presbyterian Church, Brighton Township. The Reverend Steven Maker will officiate..
