I know this is rather late, but I wanted to extend my condolences to the entire Puhalla and Bruce Families. Karen was a wonderful person, and although I have only run into her a few times since high school, I will never forget her and the many crazy and fun things we did in our high school days. This picture of her is beautiful, and it is exactly the way I remember her, with a smile on her face. May Karen Rest In Peace and May God Bless your Families. Julie (Kovach) Martin

Uncle Bill and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Karen was at our July family reunion, and she told me that she did not want her picture taken. She seemed to be doing well, so needless to say, I was shocked to learn of her passing. I wish I could have gone to the funeral, but Joe was out of town. However, I was thinking of all of you. I've prayed for Karen and scheduled a mass in her memory. She surely is in heaven.

God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me". -Author Unknown Frankie, Bill and family, may God hold you close and help you through your time of sorrow. Karen will be with you always, when you hear a song, see a beautiful summer sky, look at her grand-babies and see how they have her smile or her eyes. Let it be these things that confort you in the days to come. Chrissi (Gantz) Port

My Deepest Sympathies to Karen's Family. She touched my life in so many ways. She always made me laugh, and always brought a smile to my face wherever I seen her. She was truly a wonderful woman, and a great friend. God took her away from us to soon. I miss you Karen and someday my friend we will meet again. Love Lynn "The Angel Within" A morning dawned like any do Papers read, the coffee brews it's off to work, off to class A day will come, a day will pass. somewhere near an Angel sighs, spreads her wings and starts to cry for prayers today would not suffice, night would fall on this day twice. The darkness came without a sigh a terror came and robbed us blind. A plan so evil, so obscene, as only blackened hearts could dream. The minutes passed and darkness grew, so fast that only precious few, had the chance to say goodbyes, in a life that flashed before there eyes. Even the Angel watched in fear, Love had all but disappeared A hate that hides in every face Had chosen your time, and chosen your place. The Angel peered with clouded eyes, as smoke and ashes filled her skies, and she knew when the heaven's cleared your hurting soul would need her near. Then from a darkness came a light, as bright as one from Heaven's might, and from the depth of pain and despair, An Angel was suddenly there. She shined her light for all to see, that you are finally now free, and nothing could ever replace a love as friends we had, you for I and I for you. The Angel sat watching as others appeared searching for there loved one through eyes filled with tears, and the light grew brighter. The Angel stood up and started to fly on her way back to Heaven with tears in her eyes. For she knew this day inside all of us, An Angel was born, and in God we trust. Our losses are heavy on a day such as this. We know you our friend, forever we'll miss. We stand together in all that we do, and show there's an Angel, Inside me, and Inside you.
