Kathleen Vular Huddy, 64, of New Brighton, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.Born November 1, 1952, in Rochester, she was a devoted daughter of William N. Vular and the late Ann M. (Novoselac) Vular. Kathy was united in marriage to Guy Huddy, who preceded her in death in 2002. A graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 1970, Kathy was an administrative assistant for a construction company. She also worked in food service for 19 years in the New Brighton school system and was a member of the New Brighton PTA and Aliquippa Croation Center.Kathy was loved and respected by many. Her presence will be sorely missed, but the memories she has given will fill our hearts with joy for many years to come.In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves to cherish her memory a son, Chad Huddy in St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter, Stephanie Marcello and her husband, Domenic, of Viera, FL; three grandchildren, Reagan, Daphne and Avery Marcello; a brother, Nick (Denise) Vular of Conway, two sisters, Patty Vular of Monaca and Michele (John) Kuga of Beaver Falls; her mother-in-law, Margaret Huddy Zwierzynski; a sister-in-law, Patricia (Robert) Skerlec; two brothers-in-law, Millard and Wayne (Roseann) Huddy and her companion, Dan Matko. Kathy also leaves behind many close cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.Friends will be received Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where a blessing service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Kathy’s cousin, Rev. Fr. Robert J.
