Kathy E. Bozic Dodson, 70 formerly of Monaca, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021

A daughter of the late John and Vivian (Petures) Bozic, she was a 1969 graduate of Monaca High School. Kathy was a devout member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she was a Christian Mother.  She volunteered at the former Friendship Ridge and was their “goodwill ambassador”.   Kathy delighted in baking and cooking and she was known for her spinach rolls which she gave out at Frances Farmer Apartments.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kathy will be sadly missed by her son, Frank E. Dodson and his wife Pam of Brighton Township, her grandchildren, Amanda Edmunds, Frank E. Dodson, Jr., and Savannah N. Dodson, four great grandchildren, Ethan, Greyson, Caroline, and Faith, a sister, Judy Bozic Cole (Calvin), her former husband, Frank Dodson and her companion, Tony Falbo.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where prayers will be offered on Friday at 9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to thank Gallagher Home Health for their kind and compassionate care that was given to Kathy.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s memory to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
