I met Katrina in 2009 when we traveled to Croatia with a contingent of people from the Aliquippa Croatian Club, led by Mary Ann Mikula. From the first time we met, she had me laughing non-stop. Katrina was one of the kindest, most funny people I have ever met in my life - she was one of a kind, for sure. We had such a great trip and had so much fun. She loved to shop just as much as I did, and when my husband found out that I had a shopping buddy on the trip, he had no idea what to expect! To say that we had the time of our lives, was definitely an understatement. She was the only one who was awake one night/early morning when I couoldn't sleep and she said "let's go for a walk outside - maybe some of the shops are still open." Can you imagine shopping for jewelry at 2 am?? Our last night in Dubrovnik, we had a party and she was showing off her new dress that she had custom made. We could not stop laughing because she was modeling it over her other clothes she had on and was just walking all around the room like it was a runway and being very serious with this model face. I was waiting for her to crack a smile and if you know Katrina, it was difficult for her not to smile or laugh. I still laugh like crazy thinking about that night. When I heard Katrina passed away, I went home to find the pictures from that night. So many great memories! I am just sorry that we didn't make more of an effort to keep in touch. To Chuck and Joe, you are both in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. You both have a beautiful guardian angel watching over you now!

I rode the school bus from grade school through high school with Katrina and Martina. I never knew Kat when we she wasn't smiling or pleasant. The same goes for Martina. Loved them both as friends and always wish them the very best. Kat was so nice and loving. She and her husband Joe live next door to my in-laws and would help and look out for them. Such nice people. My thoughts and prayers are with her, Joe, Martina, and their whole family.

Katrina was the sweetest most thoughtful person I knew. She cared so much about her family and friends. The Lord must have needed a bright beautiful butterfly by his side.

I fondly remember when Trina and Tina came to Center High School. Trina always had a wonderful sense of humor and seemed to really look out for her sister, despite any health obstacles she may have faced. Such a beautiful soul, rest well, sweetie!

Love you cousin! We will miss you dearly! So many fond memories when we were little. I always looked up to you and your sisters, from the bond you had with each other to your great fashion sense, even though as I see pictures posted of the olden days, the fashion doesn't seem as I remember it! Until we meet again! Love!
