Rest in Peace Kelley and commiserations to all your family who are in my prayers - so sad to have found out the news. I am glad to have known you and treasure some happy memories. My son is autistic and great that you were able to work in this area to help others which I hope to do too creating apps. "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Dear Family, Kelley and I went to Mt Gallitzen together and if I'm not mistaken from K-8th. I remember her as a vibrant, smiling U2 loving girl. Reading her accomplishments it is so easy to believe and see the torch that she had taken up and will leave burning for us to remember her by and to use as an example of what we can accomplish. No words can convey or ease your pain now but God will be with you in the darkest hour, you are not alone. I have fond memories of her and wish you all the best.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.

Dear Gail, Our daughters were classmates beginning in kindergarten at Mt. Gallitzen. Although we have not kept in touch, we were stunned to learn of Kelley's death. We too have an only child, Megan, and can't begin to imagine your shock and grief. Kelley is remembered for her sweetness, sense of humor, and intelligence. We will remember her through pictures in Megan's scrapbooks of primary school. Reading Kelley's full obituary on this site acknowledges her contribution to autism research, and the loving husband and son left behind. Please accept our sympathy and prayers. May the Peace of Christ be with you always. Sincerely, Vonnie Thickey

Though we may not have been friends to speak of, we were certainly acquaintances, Quigley assures that with the small classes. I was shocked and saddened to hear of a fellow graduate passing so young in life. God would only take those whom he truly needed and would only leave behind those who he believes could handle the burden. That said, please accept my thoughts, prayers and condolences to the family during this extremely difficult and stressful time. Godspeed Kelley, Godspeed....

This isn't really a coherent story, just stuff that I recall: - The first time that I saw Kelley, she was wearing the coolest outfit to a SPRINT presentation at Quigley (long rap skirt, tailored jacket, brooch - so NOT what I wore in 6th grade)- even though we wouldn't meet until years later, I admired her style. - making a school bus safety video for Driver's Ed together, and getting a B (which was like an F to both of us) because Mr. Driscoll did not appreciate our cinematic vision - lots of long shots of the Rhodes bus barn. - Kelley explaining what it was like to be kissed (we were in 9th grade) - girlfriend's description was both hilarious and terrifying! - She was my only friend in my class at Quigley, and I will miss her always.
