Kenneth A. Staats, Jr., 82, formerly of Hopewell Township & Columbiana, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at his residence.Born in Aliquippa, he was the son of the late Kenneth A. Sr. and Elizabeth (Snyder) Staats.  He was a US Navy veteran and a longtime owner of the Ken Staats Family Hairstyling in Center Township. He had a passion for collecting antique cars and attending car shows and cruises. He was a founding and longtime member of the Beaver County Car Club and also the Cadillac-LeSalle Club.  Over the years he had won a National Championship at Hershey for his cars.He will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia (Breckenridge) Staats, his children; David and Eric Staats, Robin (Jack) Smith, step daughter Kelly Colella, and step son Barry Glass, his grandchildren; David Staats, Jr. and Danielle Staats and four great grandchildren.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Servcies, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.  Military honors will be provided by the Beaver County Special Unit at 11:45 AM on Wednesday in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
