Kenneth “Kenny” Bowan, husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother died on Saturday, September 29, 2018. He was 67.Kenny was born in Sewickley, PA on November 8, 1950 to Jack and Betty Bowan. He grew up as the eldest of four and graduated from Ambridge High School. Kenny earned an Associate’s Degree in Electronics from Penn Technical Institute. Love in the form of wife, Sandie Krupp brought him to Brighton Township and he married her in 1973. The couple have two daughters.Kenny is survived by his wife, Sandie Bowan; his daughters, Natalie Moritz and Amy Bowan; his son-in-law, Joe Moritz; his grandsons, Joseph Henry and Samuel Moritz; his mother, Elizabeth Bowan; his sisters, Patricia Campbell and Laurie Morski and families; and his brother, Jack Bowan. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Bowan and his grandparents.Kenny worked as an Electrician for Westinghouse/Eaton for over 40 years, and was a dedicated member of IBEW #201 until his retirement in 2017. Kenny will be remembered for always having a Mr. Fix-it answer anytime his daughters called, his extreme generosity, and being a Beach Boys fan. He loved a well-polished ‘57’ Chevy, dogs of all shapes and sizes and his family most of all.A visitation for Kenny will be available to the public at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 7:30 pm with a service to follow at 7:30 pm with Pastor Dale Russo officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Beaver County may be offered.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
