Kevin J. Dornack, 57, of Center Township, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 10, 2015, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.Born July 26, 1957, in Sewickley and raised in Economy Boro, he was a son of the late Robert and Lillian (Suhan) Dornack. A graduate of Ambridge High School, Class of 1976, Kevin was also an alumnus of a McKees Rocks trade school and was employed as a steelworker at Ipsco Koppel Plant in Ambridge since 1993. He was known to spend his leisure time working around the house, but when he wasn’t there, you could find him target shooting at Ambridge Sportsmen’s Club where he had been a member. He had a love of animals, especially his cat, ‘Buddy’, and enjoyed hanging out with his family and riding his motorcycle.He will be sadly missed by his wife of 19 years, Lynn (Govel) Dornack; two brothers, Robert Dornack and his wife, Pam, and David Dornack, all of Baden; a sister, Tammy Angelo and her husband, Harry, of Moon Township and extended family members.Kevin was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Stephanie.Friends will be received Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, One Oxford Centre, 301 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
