Kristen \”Kris\” Neece, 49, of Kingwood, Texas, beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and mother, went to be with her Lord & Savior on March 17, 2008.

Kris loved life and was, in turn, loved and embraced by all who knew her. She fought a difficult and valiant fight against kidney cancer that ended her mortal life early, but her eternal life continues in heaven! Kris was born on July 27, 1958 in Rochester, PA. She graduated from Southern Methodist University and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Women of Stature Ministries and the SMU Alumni Association.

She is survived by her husband, Bert Neece; children, Kevin and Brittany Neece; parents, Ralph and Belle Clarke, and sisters, Wendy Kellond and Lisa Kaldheim. She is also survived by a loving aunt, Geraldine Clarke of Monaca, and an uncle, Leonard Clarke of Grove City.

Memorial services were held Friday, March 21, 2008, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3803 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, TX, with Pastor Al Doering officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Cancer Association whose website is www.kidneycancer.org.
