Larry and I were roommates at Greenbrier Military School. An amazingly wonderful person full of life and great stories. I just found out about his passing and wish to extend my sympathy to his family and friends. Always in a good mood, he was part of the joy of being in D Company. An amazing athlete, we were the best in intermural softball and track. We had a winner on our side!

I became a close friend of Larry at Greenbrier Military School (1956). We were both sent there by the University of Cincinnati as student athletes for one year prior to attending UC. When I think back to those days when we were young, I most remember Larry as a GREAT natural athlete with a big smile and a great sense of humor. But when he put his helmet on the smile disappeared and his game face was that of a warrior. As a running back he was strong with speed and agility. He had great hands as a pass receiver and led the nation at onetime as a punter. As a sophomore at UC he had NFL potential. Although we were only teammates a few years I will always be grateful for his friendship and proud to say we were friends and teammates. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the DeVincentis family. God bless you Larry.

Mrs D, Tracy, LarryI am so very sorry for your lost. He was a very special person. He was a great friend to my father and a hero to me. He taught me so much on and off the field. I owe him so much. One of my favorite memories was the time my Dad and Mr D brought some stuff down to Indiana for me. Coach let them in to watch practice. i hit someone on a non-contact drill. Coach sent me running. I could hear that laugh of Mr D's echoing in the stadium. You are all in my prayers. Jeff Propst
