Lawrence “Butch” Morris, Jr. of Center Township, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, November 26, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, PA.
Alongside his business partner and friend Skip Crizer, Butch worked for PennTile and Carpet, and Furniture Galleries for 50 years. A dedicated member of the Center Township VFD # 2, he served as a firefighter and was a member of the fire police serving Center Township for 65 years. He enjoyed hunting, arrowhead collecting, and everything outdoors.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth (Corless) and Lawrence Morris, Sr., his sister, Norma Jean Kotoulas Josza, and his daughter Sheila Rae Lowery.
Butch is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sylvia Ann (Hannah) Morris; his siblings, Charlotte Walker, Elizabeth Ann Brown, Alan “Slick” Morris, and James Morris; his son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Vicki Morris, two granddaughters and a son-in-law, Nicole Morris, Lauren Lowery and Douglas Eberhardt, a great grandson, Landon Morris, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private.
