Lee Randall Babik, 24, of Aliquippa, formerly of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 8, 2013.
He is survived by his mother, Dana Bargerstock (Jack) of Hookstown; his father, Dale Babik of Coraopolis; two sisters, Jessica and Kristy Babik, both of Aliquippa; his maternal grandparents, Patricia Kincaid (Ross) of Hookstown and Robert Bailey of Independence Twp.; his beloved nieces and nephew, Dayton Schofield, Amirah Schofield, and Angelia DiAntonio; his maternal great-grandfather and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steve and Theresa Babik of Coraopolis.
Lee was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard 198th Infantry Brigade from 2007 – 2010 and was deployed to Iraq in 2009 for ten months. He was an avid backyard athlete and enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. Lee’s two biggest claims to fame were his high score and his music. They will both live on in his absence.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where a service will be conducted on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Lee will be missed by many, remembered by anyone lucky enough to have met him, and loved by everyone who’s life he touched.
