Friday, March 03, 2017To the Family of Mrs. Lorkovich: My name is Karen; I am saddened to hear of your loss. I was one of your mothers’ students. She took very good care of her students and was always so kind. I enjoyed my year with her and hated having to leave her class. The Impact of One LifeWhen a stone is dropped into a lake it quickly disappears from sight, but its impact leaves behind a series of ripples that broaden and reach across the water. In the same way, the impact of one life lived for Christ will leave behindan influence for good that will reach the lives of many others. Roy Lessin I will keep your family in prayer. May God comfort and keep you. Find peace in knowing that she is in the Fathers, care. I only knew Leona for a short time compared to many of you here. But the short time I was able to spend with her I got know and love a woman that I was proud to call mom. Leona raised two great children Paul and Malinda and has 8 beautiful grand children that she loved with all her heart. Even though she had polio it never stopped Leona how to teach her children to love, be grateful, compassionate, humility, and many other things but most of all she taught not only her children but many others not to let anything or anyone stop you from what you want to do in life. Her life was cut short but her love and her memories will go on as long we never forget. Each time you look up just say hi not only to Leona but to all the loved ones that you have lost. Leona you will forever be missed but you will also get the rest and peace you deserve.

Paul, Sorry to read about your mom. She was a special person and I thoroughly enjoyed her being the troop treasurer and valued her insights and opinions. Carol and I cannot attend the viewing, because we now spend the winter in Florida near Dan and his family.

Leona will be missed by many. She has been a great mother, grandmother and friend. She always had a smile and a good word to say. Her face would light up when talking about her children and grand children. May she rest in peace her battle has been won.

My sweet little Leona. When you came into my life 13 years ago, I never would have imagined how much better you made my life and that you would become a grandma to me. Over these last 13 years, we not only grew a close friendship, but we became family. I will always cherish the good times we had and the memory of you will last forever. I love you more than words can ever express. I hope that I can become half of the woman that you were in your life. Rest in Peace, Grandma Lee Lee. Till we meet again.
