Linda D. Jagerski, 70, formerly of Center Township, died peacefully on Monday evening, March 13, 2017.Born May 6, 1946, in Rochester, she was the youngest of four children born to the late Ralph J. and Flora I. (Clayton) Dooley. Linda was united in marriage to Frank J. Jagerski on September 25, 1965. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2014. While growing up Linda enjoyed reading and playing school which led her to a career in teaching. Following graduation from Monaca High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Duquesne University and also earned certification in secondary education and special education. She completed her master’s degree in reading and language arts, also at Duquesne. She taught in the Alternative Education Program at Allegheny Intermediate Unit and was a member of the teachers’ union. In addition to her love of reading, Linda also enjoyed watching movies, crafting and collecting Lladro figurines and treasures originally from Valencia, Spain, along with a special place in her heart for animals, including the family dogs. Linda was a faithful member of Monaca United Methodist Church.She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Cherie Duddridge and her husband, Ian, of Houston, TX, and Beth Baic and her husband, Matthew, of Cranberry Township; five grandsons, Andrew and Kristian Duddridge, and Samuel, Seth and Keegan Baic; a sister, Grace Pilotti of Miami, FL, and her beloved dog, Tigger, along with several nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy McCullough and a brother, Richard Dooley.Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Her pastor, Rev.
