Linda M. Waxler

Linda M. Fike Waxler, 59 of Rochester passed away at her home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 the first day of fall which was her favorite season.Born in Aliquippa, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Gertrude ‘Honey’ Greene Fike.Linda  was a hard worker, thoughtful and generous lady who could also stand her ground. She enjoyed crafts, decorating for family get togethers and taking an active role in coordinating  the Fike family reunions. She held a management position with Allegheny Plastics Inc for over 20 years and currently was employed as a supervisor with Mailing Services of Pittsburgh, both in Cranberry Township.She leaves her husband, 39 years, Donald G Waxler, Two children: Tracey (Rick) Jeffers and Aaron Waxler, all of Rochester. Five grandchildren: Tiara Jeffers, Hailey Waxler, Brian Cuser, Zaine Jeffers and Grayson Waxler. Five brothers and sisters: Jim (Leah) Fike, Ron Fike, Donna Fike, Kathy (Chuck) Finley and Jammie Fike (Jeffrey).Friends will be received on Wednesday, Sept 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8:30 pm followed by a brief service at  8:30pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave, Monaca. The family has suggested, rather than flowers,  memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit, simpsonfuneralhome,com. .
