Lloyd G. Foote, 83, of Freedom passed away Monday evening, Dec. 7, 2009, at Heritage Valley , Sewickley.

Born March 24, 1926 in Lackawanna County, Pa, he was a son of the late Arthur Millard and Beatrice Millard (Sidney) Foote.

Lloyd was retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp in Vanport, where he was employed as a machine operator. He later worked as a newspaper carrier for the Times.

He leaves his wife, Ramona Foote. He also leaves his is ex-wife Antoinette Dorn, mother of Frances Garman and her children: Antony Foote, Andrew Garman, Timothy Garman and Daniel Garman and numerous great grandchildren. A daughter, Sarah M. Pierce and her husband, Glenn and her children: Michael L. (Melissa) Evans and their children: Jordon and Joel; Joseph R. (Carrie) Evans and their children: Athena and Paris; Thomas D (Heather) Evans and their children: Ashlynn and Zechariah. Ramona?s daughters: Shela Harper and Alanna Plutko and her son, Michael Garrett Plutko. A brother, Donald (Lorraine) Foote and a sister in law, Emily Foote.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Edgar, Ronald, Ralph and Roy Foote and a sister, Dorothy Fink.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to neighbors, friends and staff of Personal Touch Caregivers (Cora) for their compassionate care.

Private services will be held on Thursday for immediate family only.

Lloyd will be greatly missed by his most loyal friend and companion, his dog, Honey.

To the family of Lloyd Foote, I share in your sorrow in the passing of Mr. Foote. He was a Times carrier I hired for Freedom and later a Baden route. I could always count on Mr. Foote to do his job. He visited our home several times and we always enjoyed our times together. Respectfully, Bill Mallary

While I only saw Mr Foote once a year, I enjoyed talking with him. He was a very nice man. He will be missed.
