Lois M. Emerick, 68, of Monaca, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011, at Heritage Valley, Beaver, emergency room.
Born April 25, 1943, in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. Sr. and Erma I. (Kerr) Emerick. A homemaker, Lois enjoyed listening to country music, sharing a pizza with her friends and family and savoring her favorite cappuccino.
She leaves four children, Beverly Bowser and her fiancé. Lew Headley of Monaca, Sharon (Dave) Guisler of Beaver Falls, Duane Fritz of Monaca and Darin Fritz of Pittsburgh. She also leaves her grandchildren, Louis (Pam) Bowser, Stacey Fleming, Bobby Fleming, Ericka Fritz, Brittany Fritz and Chelsea Fritz; a sister, Barbara DeSantis of Hopewell Twp. and a brother, Charles F. (Diane) Emerick, Jr of Baden; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Bill and Dot Murray.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Rochester Free Methodist Church, 480 Jefferson St. with Rev. Mel McRoberts, officiating.
