Louise Joan Zieber Summerville, 82, a lifelong resident of Center Township passed away, on Friday, December 2, 2022, three weeks before Christmas, a time of year which she dearly loved.
Louise was previously employed as the assistant manager of the Cabana Dress Shop in Rochester and later as the head teller for Sky Bank. She was a Center Township Democratic Committee Person for years and also worked as a Center Township school crossing guard. She loved collecting antiques, was an excellent cook and loved to decorate her home for her favorite holiday, Christmas.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Myrtle (Finley) Zieber and husband of 59 years, George R Summerville. She was also preceded by a sister, Eleanor Winkle, a brother, Thomas Zieber and her best friend, Kay Corsi.
She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Raeleen (Jeff) Kypta and Becky (Ken) Villella and a step daughter, LuAnn (the late Glenn) Rethage. Her beloved grandchildren, Chad and Kelly, and a former sister in law, Lorena Campbell. Her nieces and nephews: Arnie (Jan) Winkle, the late Jackie Winkle, Mark Summerville, Kimberly Toth and Dawn Schultz and many more cherished nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. She will be missed by her favorite neighbor girl, Tammi Marshall and dear friend, Joanne Gargasz.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 9th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM with the Reverend John Heidengren, pastor of Prince of Peace Anglican Church, Hopewell Township, officiating. Interment will follow at John Anderson Memorial Cemetery, Raccoon Township.
