Lynn Leigh Maze, 68 of Industry Borough went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday September 14th 2023 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was born February 1955 daughter of the late George “Pud” and Charlotte “Polly” Milne. Lynn was a graduate of Center High School Class of ’73 and received her bachelors degree in journalism from West Virginia University in 1977. Lynn was an active lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Rochester where she was involved in many activities serving the Lord with her church family. She spent 11 years working for PSA airlines and later retired from Wester Beaver School District. Lynn enjoyed gardening, diamond dots, shopping (especially jewelry and shoes), reading her Bible and devotionals, her monthly ladies card club, and above all her precious grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years James S. Maze; two daughters and son in law; Mackenzie Maze and Anna (Moses) Lafferty. Her younger sister and brother in law Patti (Rick) Henderson of Solon, OH. Her mother in law, Mona J. Eckman of Cambridge Village, Patterson Township. Her two grandbabies who brought so much joy to her life Jackson and Sophia Maze. Lynn is also survived by many loving brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Through her struggle with illness over the last few years Lynn cherished her family and friends for their endless love and support. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday the 20th of September at 2pm at First Baptist Church of Rochester, 301 Adam’s St. Rochester, PA officiated by Pastor Phillip Huggins. Following the Memorial the family asks you to join them in celebrating such a wonderful and blessed life lived in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to LLS (The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573 and St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, a charity which she held very dear.
