Margaret E. Buyan, 86, of Leesburg, Florida, was born September 18, 1924 in Monaca, Pennsylvania, and died September 9, 2011, in Tavares, Florida. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and worked as a Teacher’s Aide in Special Education in the Pennsylvania school system for many years. Mrs. Buyan was an active member of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Leesburg where she sang in the choir and volunteered in the Thrift Shop.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Nicholas J. ‘Nick’ Buyan of Leesburg; daughter Bonnie, and husband Pete LaFleur of Colorado, son Robert Buyan of California; sister Janet (Mike) Ersick; brother Robert Greiner; four grandchildren: Peter, Joe, Anne and Jeanne; seven great-grandchildren: Paul, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Sarah, David, Leah and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at BEYERS FUNERAL HOME, Leesburg, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at St. Pauls Catholic Church by Father John Giel. Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery in Monaca, Pennsylvania.
