In Loving Memory of Margaret Vivian Lipan
Margaret, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 86. She was born on February 13, 1937 to the late albert and Grace Lawrence. Margaret’s love story with her husband, James Lipan, was nothing short of remarkable. Together, they celebrated over 68 years of marriage, demonstrating a bond built on love, faith, unwavering support for one another.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents and her brothers – Albert and Robert Lawrence. Margaret is survived by her husband, James Lipan, sister, Mary Helterbran, her two daughters Dawn (Terry) Beatty, Barbara (Thomas) Mazzant, her daughters being the pride and joy of her life. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, Georgina (Joe Fucci) Beatty, James Beatty, Thomas (Lauren) Mazzant, Tyler (Meghan) Mazzant and five great-grandchildren, Victoria Dettorre, Jacob Fucci, Tyler James, Juliette, and Grayson Mazzant.
Margaret will be remembered for the beauty of her spirit, her unwavering faith, and her love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her and be touched by her grace and kindness.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 6-8 pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where prayers will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 9:30 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Luke the Evangelist (Good Samaritan) Ambridge, PA at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
