Marie L ( LeGoullon ) Johnston  of Patterson Township, passed away, Monday, September 4th, in Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls, PA.Marie was born in Monaca, August 10, 1932 to  the late Lamartine L. LeGoullon Sr. and Agnes ( Carroll ) LeGoullon of Monaca.  She was a 1950 graduate of Monaca High School and a 1954 graduate of Indiana State Teachers College (IUP) .Marie was a retired Teacher from the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit having taught special needs children  at The New Horizon School in Brighton Township for 33 years.  Marie, along with her husband, Harry, was also the former owner of Stop ‘n Sock Driving Range and Par Three Golf in New Brighton, PAIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  her husband Harry J. Johnston,  a brother, Lamartine Louis LeGoullon Jr,  a sister-in-law, Sarah LeGoullon; a nephew, Lamartine Louis (Teen) LeGoullon lll, and nephew, Jay Ulizzi and her two West Highland Terriers, Mr Jenkins and McDuff ( Duffy)She is survived by her brother , Frank LeGoullon, of Center Twp.; a sister-in-law, Marianne (Garrity) LeGoullon, of Sewickley; two nephews, Mark LeGoullon, and his wife, Fran, of Canfield, Ohio and Eric LeGoullon and wife, Shari, of Morganton, N.C.; four nieces, Linda (LeGoullon) Karnavas and her husband, Andy, of Sewickley, Karen (LeGoullon) Olson and her husband, Robert, of Princeton, Minn., Holly (LeGoullon) Ulizzi of Aliquippa and Kristin (LeGoullon) Valentin and her husband, Ed, of Charlotte, N.C., along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.Marie loved music, particularly Broadway musicals, and old standard songs which she loved to sing with groups at parties.Friends will be received Friday September 8th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca (724-728-4000), and Saturday  from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 9:30 A.M.
