Martha Ralish, 80, of Monaca, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, while in the comfort of her daughters’ home. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Stella (Nicksich) Emert.
Martha worked at Isaly’s while she attended Monaca High School. Later in life she worked at Kmart for more than 35 years. She enjoyed hosting card club, playing bingo, and testing her luck with trips to the casinos. An avid baker, she often treated family and friends to her famous nut roll.
Above all, she will be most remembered as a woman who loves her family and friends.
Martha also performed with the New Brighton Kolo Ensemble, a Croatian dance group that traveled to various states & Canada, and stayed active by attending Zumba and water aerobics classes.
In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her sister Dolores (John) Whelan and two brothers Ralph and infant Bernard Emert.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, George W. Ralish, her three loving children, George A. Ralish; Shari Ralish; Vicki Ralish (Ron Beaumont); her two adoring grandchildren, Shea Beaumont (Autumn, Maisie & Daxxton), Alekzander Windham; sister Catherine (the late Don) McKay, brother Robert Emert and many nieces, nephews and their families.
The Ralish family will welcome friends on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where a service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 10am.
