Martha Kennedy

Martha C. (Nola) Kennedy, 88 of New Sewickley Township ended her journey of life on June 11, 2021.

She was born on May 9, 1933, the daughter of Rosie and Mike Nola of Hookstown.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Glen R. Kennedy, as well as her parents and siblings:  Angelo, Samuel, Augustine, Anthony, Carl, Louise Hodge and Mary DeVastatore.

Her true passion in life was her family.  Together with her husband, as they engaged in life’s activities, could be seen holding hands and sharing their love for each other.

Martha is survived by her children, Glen L. (Beverly J. Green) Kennedy and Marjorie A. Kennedy (Richard) Pantaleo.  She was the grandmother of Rachel (Mike) Dierdorf, Nicole (Shawn) Kohler and Katrina (Sean) Ritter.  Her legacy continues on through her many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, as well as her cat, Percy.

Martha possessed a sweet and generous nature, a sharp wit and a timeless beauty.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the professional and caring staff of Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver.

As per her wishes, all services will be private.
