Mary Anne and I were first cousins. My father was Michael Shymko. Mary Anne's uncle and her mother's brother. If anyone wishes to learn more about other members of our family tree, feel free to e-mail me and we can connect. Very sorry to hear of my cousins passing. We shared many happy holidays together. She was a wonderful friend and fun to be around.

Nancy Stover left a message on June 25, 2022:
Maryann was a very good friend for many years! We were neighbors first and became close soon after she moved in. We used to sit at a picnic table in my back yard in the summer and see how much fresh corn we could devour! I could pop in during later years and always find her in the kitchen usually cooking something ethnic for Mel. She loved McDonalds iced coffee with sugar free french vanilla, that i always brought with me. She had a great sense of humor and was a friend I will truly miss!

I'm so sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. She was a bright light in my childhood, as was her entire family, and I was proud to call her my Godmother. We recently re-connected over FaceBook and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to catch up. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time. XO
