Mary Jane Bryner, 88, of Monaca, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2016.Born February 9, 1928, in Salineville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jane (Keating) Burns. Mary Jane worked most of her life as a registered nurse. A member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca, where she also belonged to Christian Mothers and the Contemporary Choir. Mary Jane and her husband, Homer, enjoyed square dancing and were socially active with friends and family.In addition to her parents Mary Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Homer W. Bryner, who passed away on March 24, 1993; a brother, Charles Burns and a sister, Patricia Phillips.She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Terry Mauck and her husband, Jim, of Brighton Township, Chris Bryner of Monaca and Valerie Drew and her husband, Steve, of Grove City; three grandchildren, Dan (Marianne) Mauck in Tennessee, Nicole (Thom) Foster in Oregon and Doug Drew of Grove City; a sister-in-law, Janet Burns, of Monaca, along with numerous nieces and nephews.Friends will be received Wednesday, October 26th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where parting prayers will be offered Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
