Mary R. Cumpston , 82 of Crescent Township was called to her Heavenly Home on February 1, 2022.
Born in the Sheridan section of Pittsburgh to Clarice Pape, Mary earned her Associate’s Degree in Science and
worked for over 30 years as a registered nurse for Interim Health Care and others. A woman with a strong, abiding faith, she rejoiced in attending Pentecostal churches and studying her Bible. She had a love of the ocean where she would go scuba diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing. She also enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean and Israel, and attending concerts.
She leaves two daughters: Deborah Fink and Jennifer Cumpston (Robert Monahan). Five grandchildren: Heidi (Bud) Gingerella, Misty Kincaid (Omar Gloster), Christian William Cumpston, Robert Monahan, Jr. and James Monahan. Her great grandchildren: Braden Gingerella, Sebatian Kincaid, MacKenzie Kincaid, Dawson Gingerella, Dakota Gingerella, Caliph Gloster and Kelsey Gloster. And her dog, Boo.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step father Clarice and William Pape, a sister Laurel Clarice Phillips and a brother, Kenneth LeRoy Quinn.
Friends will be received Monday, February 14th from 2pm until the time of service at 5 pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. Private interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.
