Mary V. (Kurtz) Lamberto, 84, formerly of Monaca was reunited with her late husband, Armando on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012. Her passing occurred at Golden Living Center, Titusville, PA.
Born June 4, 1928 in Monaca, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lena (Taormina) Kurtz.
Mary was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan; faithfully attended the Monaca High School football games; and enjoyed playing bingo at both the Monaca American Legion and V.F.W.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Armando in 1983 and a son, Carmen in 2007.
A devoted wife and mother, she leaves two sons: Samuel Lamberto of Beaver and Frank Lamberto and his wife, Colleen of Tionesta. Eight grandchildren: Josh, Justin, Amanda, Candice, Matthew, Brooke, Michelle, and Patricia. A grand dog, Gabby. Eleven great grandchildren. A brother, August Kurtz of Crafton and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday, Sept 9th from 1-3 and 4-7 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where parting prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
