Mattilou A. Bailey Connor, 84, formerly of Rochester Twp., went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2016.Born September 19, 1931, in St. Mary’s, WV she was a daughter of the late William and Mabel Eddy. For many years Mattilou was employed at Passavant Memorial Homes in Rochester as a dietitian and seamstress. Her passions included writing poetry and painting on slate and canvas. She was an active member for 49 years at Monaca United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, held various leadership positions and participated in the church bowling league. Mattilou also enjoyed golfing.She leaves to mourn her loss five children, Leslie (Letonia) Bailey of Douglas, IL, Vincent (Carol) Bailey of Kissimmee, FL, Judith (Joseph) Dinello, East Palestine, OH, Sue Ann (Robert) Haglan of Rochester and Christopher (Margie) Bailey of Chesapeake City, MD; 13 grandchildren, Carrie, Corrie, Cassie, Joel, Christine, Cathleen, Joshua, Joseph II, Sarah, Aaron, Lindsey, Brittany and Zackary; ten great-grandchildren, Danielle, Dana, Erin, Jacob, Gene III, Ethan, Andrew, Caleb, Carson and Dylan, and a sister, Betty Bailey in St. Mary’s, WV.In addition to her parents, Mattilou was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer K. Bailey, in 1996, with whom she was married for 48 years until his passing; her second husband, William James Connor in October 2005; and two brothers, William D.
